Ascension Global Staffing & Executive is looking for a Transactional Real Estate Associate to support its commercial real estate practice. This role offers strong potential for growth within a collaborative, sophisticated practice group, with direct exposure to complex transactions and meaningful client contact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions from inception through closing
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, and loan documents
- Manage due diligence, including title and survey review, and coordinate closing logistics
- Assist with entity formation and joint venture documentation for real estate investments
- Manage deal timelines and coordinate with lenders, brokers, title companies, and opposing counsel
- Conduct legal research on real estate, zoning, and land use matters as needed
- Interface directly with clients on deal status, open issues, and next steps
- Collaborate closely with partners on complex, multi-party transactions
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 6 years of solid experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions
- Ability to manage deal timelines and drive transactions to closing with minimal oversight
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across transactional documents
- Comfort interfacing directly with clients and outside parties
- Florida Bar admission required
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience at an Am Law or well-regarded regional real estate practice
- Existing relationships with lenders, brokers, or title companies in South Florida
