Mental Health Therapist – New Nampa Location | $60 per Billable Hour

We are opening a new location in Nampa, Idaho in February 2027 and are currently recruiting compassionate mental health therapists to join our growing clinical team.

Ascension Counseling Services is an established counseling practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a supportive and welcoming environment. We are looking for clinicians who value collaboration, professionalism, clinical autonomy, and meaningful work with clients.

We are beginning the hiring process early to allow adequate time for insurance credentialing, onboarding, and a smooth transition before the new location opens.

Who We Are Looking For

We are especially interested in clinicians who enjoy working with one or more of the following populations or concerns:

• Adults
• Adolescents
• Couples and families
• Anxiety and depression
• Trauma
• Substance use and co-occurring conditions
• Relationship concerns
• Life transitions
• Other behavioral and mental health concerns

Clinicians with specialized areas of interest are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, or other appropriate counseling services based on training and scope of practice
• Complete timely and clinically appropriate documentation
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain professional and ethical standards
• Coordinate care with other providers when appropriate
• Participate in required clinical meetings
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Maintain an appropriate outpatient caseload

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Licensed for professional licensure in Idaho
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care

LPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT and other appropriately credentialed behavioral health professionals are encouraged to apply.

Candidates working toward independent licensure may also be considered depending on supervision needs and availability.

Schedule

Scheduling is flexible and may include:

• Daytime appointments
• Afternoon/evening appointments
• Part-time or fuller caseload options

Specific schedules can be discussed during the interview process.
