Job Summary:
Client Care Specialists support the AscendVets mission, vision and core values by providing world class service to each of our clients. They are the face of our practice and instrumental in bonding clients to our practice. In this multifaceted position, team members use their problem-solving skills to effectively guide the clients experience through multi-tasking and superior customer service. The Client Care Specialist serves as a primary point of contact answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting and educating clients, resolving client issues, collecting fees and other administrative tasks.
Reports to: Practice Manager, Team Lead, Director of Operations, Practice Owners
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Client Communication and Service

- 3. Client Records, Data Management and Inventory
- 4. Financial Transactions and Cash handling
- 5. Client Education and Support
- 6. Complaint Resolution and Conflict Management
- 7. General Housekeeping
8. Personal Conduct, Professional Growth and Time Management
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in customer service or veterinary-related fields (preferred).
- 2 years previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting is desirable but not required.
- Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment.
- Typing skills required.
- Some computer knowledge required; comfortable with Windows operating system, keyboarding, and use of communication tools such as Instant Messenger and email.
- Proven customer support experience
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school diploma
