Senior Tax Associate
The Senior Tax Associate plays a key role in supporting the month-end close process, preparing quarterly and annual income tax provisions, mitigating tax risks, optimizing tax strategies, and supporting audits and regulatory compliance efforts. This position requires a strong background in tax compliance, planning, and reporting, along with a deep understanding of corporate tax laws and financial reporting for income taxes (ASC 740). The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close, including tax accrual calculations and preparation/review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740
- Prepare and review corporate federal, state, and local tax filings (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8990, 8991, 8992, and 8993)
- Support U.S. international tax provisions, including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, and foreign tax credits
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including estimated payments and extensions
- Support post-acquisition tax planning and compliance integration efforts
- Ensure compliance with indirect tax requirements, including environmental and deposit-related obligations
- Partner with external tax advisors and consultants on compliance and planning initiatives
- Monitor global tax developments (e.g., OECD Pillar Two) and assess impact on reporting and compliance
- Maintain tax documentation and support audit readiness
- Assist with indirect tax filings, annual reports, and other regulatory submissions
- Analyze tax implications of cross-border transactions, including intercompany activities and restructurings
- Support transfer pricing documentation in line with IRS and OECD guidelines
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and support strategic tax initiatives
- Assist with tax audits and respond to tax authority inquiries
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives within the tax function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of tax accounting experience
- Experience with ASC 740, state and local tax, and indirect tax
- Corporate/in-house tax experience preferred
- CPA certification preferred
- Big 4 experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
