About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join a growing, publicly traded organization. In this role, you’ll work closely with tax directors and team members to prepare federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns, handle quarterly estimated payments, and assist with the tax provision. This is a hands-on role that allows you to leverage technology and AI tools to drive efficiency and accuracy while gaining exposure to tax research, planning, and audit defense.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare federal consolidated, partnership, and multistate income tax returns.
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision calculations.
• Support IRS and state tax audits and assist with correspondence.
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of tax technology and AI-driven solutions.
• Perform tax research and analysis for special projects.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local tax legislation, and GAAP reporting requirements (ASC 740).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA (or CPA candidate) preferred.
• 1–4 years of federal and state income tax compliance experience in public accounting or corporate environments.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems efficiently.
• Self-motivated team player who works well with others and can handle multiple priorities.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Corptax, Alteryx, Power BI, or AI tools a plus.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
