We’re seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to play a key leadership role in launching a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility focused on thermal plastic roofing membranes. This is a high-impact opportunity to help build a plant from the ground up, lead engineering and maintenance operations, and drive long-term performance and reliability in a growing environment.
- Lead engineering and maintenance functions for a new thermal plastic roofing membrane manufacturing facility
- Support plant setup, startup, and commissioning for a greenfield site opening in 2027
- Supervise and develop a team of 3–4 direct reports across maintenance and engineering disciplines (prior supervisory experience required)
- Bring 10 years of plant engineering and maintenance experience within roofing, plastics, or continuous process manufacturing
- Drive equipment reliability, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, SMED) to improve uptime, efficiency, and throughput
- Oversee capital projects and ensure successful execution aligned with production and growth goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support a facility scaling to ~80–90 employees across two shifts
- Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all production and utility systems
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP preferred) to support maintenance planning and operational efficiency

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
