Junior Execution Trader on an Upward Trajectory

Ascendo is excited to present this opportunity in the Financial Services industry. We are searching for an ambitious and detail-oriented Junior Execution Trader to join our dynamic client, a prominent broker-dealer. This role is pivotal for ensuring the efficient, accurate execution and settlement of trades. The ideal candidate will have current FINRA Series 7 licensure and 1 year of demonstrated experience in trade processing and correction. Responsibilities:

• Execute and process trades accurately and promptly across various asset classes.
• Work closely with the operations team to resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and corrections.
• Assist in maintaining detailed records of daily trading activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support senior traders and portfolio managers with various operational and administrative tasks.
• Utilize and gain expertise in various custodian and trading software platforms.

Qualifications:

• Active FINRA Series 7 registration is mandatory.
• Proven 1 years of experience, working in a trade processing or broker-dealer operations capacity.
• Familiarity with custodian software platforms is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, requiring scheduled in-office presence.
