We are hiring an Investor Relations Manager to support a private real estate investment platform focused on large-scale, mixed-use development. This role serves as the primary point of contact for investors and is responsible for delivering a seamless, professional investor experience through clear communication, accurate reporting coordination, and disciplined management of investor onboarding and capital activity. Working closely with finance and accounting teams, this position ensures alignment between investor-facing information and underlying financial records while helping to scale and enhance the overall investor relations function.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Investor Relations Manager serves as the primary point of contact for investors and is responsible for managing all investor-facing communications and operational coordination across a private real estate investment platform.
This role oversees investor onboarding, capital activity coordination, investor reporting distribution, and investor portal administration to ensure a consistent, accurate, and institutional-quality investor experience.
The position works closely with the Fund Accounting and Finance teams, which retain ownership of accounting records and financial reporting. This role is focused on investor communication, coordination, and delivery of investor-facing information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Investor Relations & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses
- Draft and distribute investor communications, including capital calls, distributions, and periodic updates
- Support investor meetings and reporting calls, including preparation of materials and tracking follow-ups
- Maintain consistent, high-quality investor communications aligned with organizational standards
Investor Onboarding & Records Management
- Oversee investor onboarding, including collection and organization of subscription agreements, entity documentation, tax forms, and banking instructions
- Maintain accurate investor records, including commitments, ownership details, and contact information
- Track onboarding status, accredited investor requirements, and KYC/AML compliance in coordination with legal and third-party providers
- Ensure investor documentation is complete, organized, and audit-ready
Capital Activity Administration
- Coordinate execution of capital calls and distributions, including preparation and distribution of investor notices
- Maintain investor-level tracking of commitments, contributions, distributions, and ownership changes
- Monitor funding status and follow up with investors as needed
- Coordinate with Accounting and Finance to ensure alignment with internal records and approved transactions
Investor Reporting & Portal Administration
- Administer investor portal, including document uploads, investor access, and data organization
- Coordinate distribution of investor reporting packages, including financial statements, capital account statements, and tax documents
- Review investor-facing materials for completeness and consistency prior to distribution
- Maintain investor contact lists and ensure timely delivery of communications
Tax & Compliance Coordination
- Coordinate collection and tracking of investor tax documentation (e.g., W-9s)
- Support annual K-1 distribution process and related investor communications
- Maintain compliance with investor documentation standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure investor-related processes and documentation are audit-ready
Process Improvement & Platform Development
- Develop and maintain standardized processes for onboarding, capital activity, and investor communications
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and data accuracy
- Support implementation and optimization of investor portal systems (e.g., Juniper Square or similar platforms)
- Assist in building infrastructure to support platform growth and increased investor volume
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
- 5–8 years of experience in investor relations, fund administration, private equity, or real estate operations
- Experience with investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, and reporting processes required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional investor-facing presence
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Working knowledge of investor compliance requirements, including accredited investor standards and KYC/AML
- Experience with investor portal systems (e.g., Juniper Square or similar platforms) preferred
- Advanced Excel proficiency and ability to work with large data sets

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
