Information Systems Administrator

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Administrator to join a growing organization and support the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of its IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of systems, servers, applications, and end-user technology while providing exceptional technical support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support computer systems, servers, virtualization environments, and related infrastructure.
• Provide desktop and helpdesk support, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues with minimal business disruption.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Monitor system performance, security, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system procedures, and standard operating processes.
• Train end users on business applications and technology systems.
• Support ERP and business-critical applications.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and technology implementations.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, System Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3 years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Support, or Infrastructure Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking concepts, system security, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, server, and network-related issues.
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and data protection best practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and user support abilities.
