Responsibilities:
- Contract Drafting & Negotiation:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with service providers, wholesalers, vendors, etc..
- Ensure contracts align with company policies and comply with legal and regulatory standards.
- Support the renewal and amendment process for existing agreements.
- Advise internal teams on regulatory compliance, including data privacy, consumer protection, and travel industry regulations.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations that may impact business operations.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
- Support the resolution of contractual disputes with suppliers and partners.
- Work closely with external counsel when necessary on litigation or arbitration matters.
- Ensure enforcement of contractual rights and obligations.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including terms of service, privacy policies, and operational agreements.
Required Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Florida.
- At least 1 year of experience handling corporate transactions (i.e., contracts, M&A, due diligence, IP).
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to conduct substantive contract review, manage negotiations/discussions with prospective partners, work cross-functionally with operations and finance departments regarding contracting work, and manage contracts.
Preferred Skills
- Preferred experience in technology (i.e., SAAS, AI).
- Preferred experience working with a publicly traded company
