Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist

Summary:

Responsible for managing past-due accounts, collecting payments, and ensuring accurate billing and account records. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Contact clients via phone and email to collect on past-due invoices
• Work through a backlog of collections to secure timely payments
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
• Process and post payments accurately to client accounts
• Collaborate with billing staff and Controller on client issues
• Generate and share collections reports
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity
• Work quickly and follow best practices

Qualifications:

• Experience in AR, billing, or collections preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple accounts
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
