The Role
- Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional trustees on complex estate planning and trust administration.
- Navigate the unique advantages of Delaware trust law (trust modifications, migrations, and decanting).
- Represent clients in fiduciary litigation and contested matters within the Delaware Court of Chancery.
- Collaborate with tax and financial advisors to optimize wealth transfer and minimize liabilities.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active member of the Delaware Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
- 3 years of experience in Trust & Estate planning or fiduciary litigation.
- Deep understanding of estate and gift tax laws; experience with Delaware-specific trust statutes is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to sophisticated clients.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 and $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
