About the Role:
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead – Full Stack to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in VueJS, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS serverless architecture, along with the ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive best practices across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of full stack, serverless applications
- Architect and implement solutions using AWS Serverless services such as Lambda and Step Functions
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build responsive and high-performance user interfaces using VueJS
- Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Drive CI/CD adoption and ensure reliable, automated deployments
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis
- Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Full Stack Development
- Expertise in VueJS for frontend development
- Strong backend development skills using Node.js and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of AWS Serverless Architecture, including Lambda and Step Functions
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Solid understanding of cloud-native design patterns and event-driven architectures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with additional AWS services (API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Prior experience leading or mentoring development teams
Location: Richmond, VA
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $109,480 – $128,520 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
