About the Role:
Position: Release Manager
Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid)
Summary:
Role Summary & Team Purpose:
The purpose of this team is to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge cloud solutions. This role is central to the product lifecycle, focusing on leading the Go-to-Market strategy for new features in the Cloud and AI space. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-paced, start-up culture and drive cross-functional activities to ensure the successful delivery of complex cloud software.
Key Responsibilities & Typical Day:
The Program Manager will own the release management lifecycle, focusing on coordination, reporting, and driving execution across engineering, product, and client teams.
Core Duties:
- Lead the Flight Program: Oversee the Pilot and Private Preview stages for new cloud products or features, managing scope, participants, and feedback collection.
- Client Interface: Serve as a technical point of contact for clients from project initiation through delivery, addressing technical and subject matter inquiries.
- Documentation: Create functional specifications, requirements, and scope documents that serve as the decision-making tool for product implementation.
- Status Management: Provide and present comprehensive program/project schedules and status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience:
- Minimum 3-4 years experience with release management, ADO
- Minimum 3-4 years experience Microsoft office suite and teams
- Minimum 3-4 years of reporting: status report, pilot report, data management
Salary Range: $ 72,000 - 82,000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
