About the Opportunity
We are representing a dynamic, award-winning boutique law firm in California seeking a sophisticated Real Estate Associate to join their growing practice. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate transactional agreements, including Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSAs) and loan documentation.
- Handle real estate capital markets matters, including joint venture operating agreements, syndication agreements, and preferred equity documents.
- Lead deals from inception to closing, coordinating effectively with partners, clients, and paralegals.
- Manage multiple high-priority deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience: 4-7 years of sophisticated real estate transactional experience (AmLaw 200 or recognized boutique background preferred).
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in PSAs and financing; experience with JV/LLC work is highly a plus. (Note: This is not a leasing-focused role).
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, drafting, and client-facing communication skills.
- Mindset: A team player with a positive attitude who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting.
Compensation & Requirements
- Billable Requirement: 1,800 hours.
- Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $225,000 – $275,000.(Open to discuss further for right candidates.) Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- Business Development: $2,500 annual budget for individual growth.
