About the Role:
Title: Producer 3
Location: Hybrid/Redmond, WA
Typical Day in the Role
- Purpose of the Team: The team is focused on delivering the continued legacy of the AGE OF EMPIRES franchise.
- Key projects: This role involves partnering with the Executive Producer to manage day-to-day production and workflow for various projects within the studio.

- Disqualifiers: Candidates with less than 12 months on the clock will not be eligible for the role.
- Degree or Certifications- There is no specific degree required for the role.
Project Manager / Producer
- The team is focused on delivering the continued legacy of the AGE OF EMPIRES franchise. This role involves partnering with the Executive Producer to manage day-to-day production and workflow for various projects within the studio.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, capable of tracking and communicating complex work items across multiple projects and disciplines, and committed to fostering an inclusive work environment while delivering exceptional gaming experiences.
- In this role, the position serves as a key contributor between internal and external teams across a wide variety of functions and subject matter expertise, with direct influence and responsibility for the quality and outcomes of feature development, product publishing efforts, and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, communicate, track, and report on individual tasks and work items
- Coordinate across teams to deliver quality on time for features, content, events, testing, localization, product extensions, and user engagement
- Review and provide informed feedback on development schedules and roadmaps
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to remove blockers and ensure pathways to product development and go-to-market goals
- Communicate status and updates on critical work items to key stakeholders regularly
- Actively unblock workflows by utilizing existing solutions and/or implementing new tools or processes
- Provide flexible assistance for other Producers as needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a video game Production or Project Management role focused on PC and/or Console games with at least 2 shipped titles credited as producer
- Ability to identify gaps and product needs proactively
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills for documenting plans and supporting team goals
- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
- Continuous drive to learn and adapt to evolving environments and gaming trends
- Passion for and understanding of gaming and gaming culture
- Self-starter with flexibility to work varying hours based on project demands
- Experience working in distributed teams and supporting remote collaboration
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Teams, Office tools, and other project management platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- First-hand knowledge of the AGE OF EMPIRES franchise
- Experience with Games-as-a-Service and operating live products
- PC technical knowledge and PC gaming experience
- Scrum Certification as Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Familiarity with C#, C , or other programming languages and basic engineering concepts
- Ability to provide additional perspective to improve overall franchise quality.
