In this role, you will manage probate litigation matters from inception through resolution, working directly with clients and collaborating closely with seasoned partners. Experience or familiarity with elder law is an added plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage probate litigation cases, including contested estates, trust disputes, guardianships, and conservatorships.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
Maintain direct, regular communication with clients and opposing counsel.
Maintain an annual billable target of 1,300 hours.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Colorado (or eligibility to waive in).
2 years of experience in civil litigation, with probate litigation experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge or experience in elder law is a plus, but not required.
Strong written, analytical, and courtroom advocacy skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between
$120,000 – $150,000.
Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
