We are working with a Boutique Law Firm, looking for an Estate Planning Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 3 years of experience.
Requirements:
- 3 years of dedicated legal practice in high-net-worth estate planning, trust administration, and wealth preservation
- Strong, working knowledge of federal transfer taxes (Estate, Gift, GST) and income taxation of trusts and estates.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex legal and tax concepts into clear, actionable advice for sophisticated clients
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and execute complex estate planning instruments, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, dynasty trusts, intentionally defective grantor trusts (IDGTs), GRATs, QPRTs, and charitable planning vehicles (CRTs/CLTs, private foundations
- Develop customized wealth transfer and asset protection strategies designed to minimize federal and state estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) taxes while preserving family legacies
- Oversee complex trust and estate administrations, advising trustees and executors on fiduciary duties, tax compliance, asset distributions, and probate proceedings
The annual salary for this position is between 150k-200k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
