What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney - Creditor's Rights position at Ascendion?
We are working with a multi state litigation firm specializing in real estate, creditor's rights, foreclosures and bankruptcy. They are looking for a mid to senior level creditor's rights attorney to manage cases in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience
- Previous creditors’ rights and/or commercial litigation experience
- Experience handling collections, enforcement, or related matters
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of creditors’ rights matters from intake through resolution
- Represent creditors in collection, enforcement, and related litigation matters
- Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other legal documents
- Handle court appearances, hearings, and settlement negotiations
The annual salary for this position is between $125k-$165k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
