About the Role:
Job Title: Data warehouse Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Developer/Architect to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade data solutions. This role focuses on translating complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance data models, pipelines, and metrics using modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, and BI visualization tools, with a deep understanding of data architecture, governance, and analytics best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data warehouse and lakehouse architectures using Snowflake and Databricks
- Build and optimize robust data metrics and semantic models aligned with business requirements
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Implement comprehensive metadata management, data lineage, and documentation standards
- Apply advanced data modeling techniques (dimensional, star/snowflake, fact & dimension modeling)
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into technical solutions
- Build and enhance dashboards and reports using Tableau and Amazon QuickSight
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices across platforms
- Support performance tuning, cost optimization, and platform scalability initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Snowflake and Databricks architectures
- Expertise in data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
- Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale datasets
- Experience with Tableau and Amazon QuickSight for dashboard development
- Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and documentation practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data governance frameworks and data catalog tools
- Knowledge of streaming or near-real-time data processing
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data platforms
- Background in enterprise analytics or large-scale data environments
Location: Plano, Tx
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $71,400 – $90,440 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
