Creditors' Rights Attorney | Plantation, FL (Hybrid)
We're partnering with a well-established creditors' rights law firm in Plantation, FL to find 2–3 licensed Florida attorneys to join their litigation team. This is a hybrid/on-site role based at the firm's headquarters.
About the Role
This is a high-volume litigation practice representing secured and unsecured creditors across the full recovery lifecycle - from pre-litigation demand through judgment enforcement, bankruptcy, and foreclosure/repossession proceedings. You'll manage your own docket with real autonomy and see cases through from intake to resolution.
What You'll Do
- Debt Collection & Litigation - File and prosecute lawsuits in state and federal court to obtain judgments on unpaid consumer and commercial debts
- Judgment Enforcement - Execute wage garnishments, bank levies, and property seizures to collect on judgments
- Pre-Litigation - Draft demand letters and negotiate payment plans and structured settlements
- Bankruptcy Representation - Represent secured creditors in bankruptcy court, including motions to lift the automatic stay, replevin actions, claims priority strategy, and challenges to discharge where fraud or misrepresentation is present
- Asset Recovery & Foreclosure - Manage real estate foreclosure proceedings and oversee repossession of collateral (vehicles, inventory, equipment)
What We're Looking For
- Active license to practice law in Florida, in good standing
- 2 years of experience in creditors' rights preferred; candidates with strong backgrounds in bankruptcy litigation or insurance defense (ID) will also be considered
- Comfortable managing a high-volume docket independently
- Strong courtroom, negotiation, and drafting skills

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $180,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
