We're hiring now for a Skilled Welder in Provo, UT.What We OfferWeekly pay of $21.00 - $25.00 per hour DOEDirect deposit & debit card payment optionsHealth, vision, dental, life, and disability insuranceGet weekends offWeekly PaySkilled Welder Tasks & DutiesRead and understand blueprints prior to starting a projectSource the materials to be used in the projectMeasure and cut materials to specificationsWeld materials using the correct materials to join the metals togetherCheck finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprintsSkilled Welder Shift InfoSwing Shift, 1:30 pm to 12:00 amMonday - ThursdaySkilled Welder Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)Skilled Welder experience preferredAble to work in the USAble to pass a pre-employment drug screenAble to pass a background checkKnowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual toolsProven experience as welderExperience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.)Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawingsKnowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)Deftness and attention to detailProficient in EnglishSuccessful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is requiredAWS welding certificateProfessional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) a plusAble to pass a background check Able to work in the USApply today!
