Ascend Staffing is seeking a full-time Staffing Coordinator in Hobbs, New Mexico, to help recruit, interview, and onboard great talent for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting, human resources, and client relations—all while working with a company that values growth, teamwork, and service.
- Pay Rate: $15 - $16 Per Hour (DOE)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 hour for Lunch)
What You’ll Do
As a Staffing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in our daily branch operations. You’ll:
- Recruit, interview, and hire candidates for a variety of light industrial and clerical roles
- Conduct orientations and ensure all onboarding documentation is complete and accurate
- Build strong relationships with local businesses and ensure client satisfaction
- Manage daily employee placements and resolve scheduling needs
- Use our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate flow and track placements (training provided)
- Post job ads and source candidates through social media, job boards, and digital recruiting platforms
- Support your Branch Manager in meeting weekly staffing and client service goals
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure client coverage when needed

What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience using social media and online job boards for recruiting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Self-motivated with a passion for helping people find meaningful work
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, customer service, or HR is a plus
