Quality Assurance Tech Tasks & Duties

• Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses under the supervision of senior scientists or lab managers.

• Prepare, label, and organize samples, reagents, and solutions for testing.

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and microscopes.

• Collect and record data accurately in laboratory notebooks, databases, or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.

• Assist in quality control and assurance testing to ensure product or material compliance with specifications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace; ensure proper storage and disposal of chemicals and biological waste.

Quality Assurance Tech Shift Info

• Day Shift, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

• Night Shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

• Rotating Schedule - every other weekend off

Quality Assurance Tech Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Quality Assurance Tech experience

• GED / High School Diploma

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US

• Prior laboratory experience preferred (academic, research, manufacturing, or quality control environment).

• Knowledge of general laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements and follow detailed instructions.

• Basic understanding of scientific principles and data analysis.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and laboratory software (LIMS or similar).

• Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn new techniques and equipment.
