Position Overview

As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Advisors by conducting research, technology integrator, preparing financial plans, and ensuring seamless client service. This entry-to-mid-level position offers hands-on experience in financial planning and is designed with upward mobility in mind. High-performing individuals will have the opportunity to transition into a full Financial Advisor role within 1-2 years, based on performance, certifications, and business needs. We provide mentorship, training, and support to help you obtain necessary licenses (e.g., Series 66 or CFP®) and build your client portfolio, aligning with our commitment to professional development in a collaborative, growth-oriented culture. Due to our heavy reliance on technology, you will also serve as a key technology implementer, ensuring our suite of financial software tools integrate smoothly to streamline operations and enhance client experiences.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning Support

·      Assist in the preparation and implementation of comprehensive financial plans using planning software including cash flow analysis, retirement projections, investment recommendations, estate planning strategies, and tax scenario modeling.

·      Prepare plan summaries and conduct in-depth research on investment allocations, market trends, tax implications, and regulatory changes.

·      Gather and analyze client financial data, including balance sheets, income statements, and risk assessments.

·      Conduct data entry and validation of client financial information with a high degree of accuracy.


Technology Integrations

·      Act as the technology implementer by configuring and managing integrations between financial software tools, such as Redtail (CRM), Hubly, Zapier, and other platforms, to ensure seamless data flow, automation of workflows, and efficient system interoperability.

·      Leverage technology tools to automate processes, integrate data sources, and enhance reporting efficiency.

·      Leverage CRM systems (e.g., Redtail) to manage workflows and client communications.

·      Utilize digital tools for document management, client onboarding, and reporting.

·      Stay current with emerging fintech solutions to improve operational efficiency and enhance reporting capabilities.


Client Meeting Preparation

·      Prepare client meeting materials, such as agendas, customized reports, and presentations using financial planning software.

·      Coordinate with advisors to ensure all client deliverables are timely and complete.

·      Support client onboarding, account maintenance, follow-up communications, and maintain detailed meeting notes to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

·      Follow up on & coordinate action items post-meeting.


Task & Workflow Management

·      Maintain and monitor task lists, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are aligned.

·      Collaborate with advisors and team members on portfolio reviews, rebalancing, and performance reporting to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

·      Support compliance and documentation requirements with precision.

·      Stay current with industry developments and contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions.

·      Participate in professional development activities to prepare for advancement to an Advisor role.


Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·      1-3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a paraplanning or administrative support role.

·      Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and planning software.

·      Demonstrated strong technology skills, including experience with financial planning platforms (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro), Redtail, and API integrations; ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies is critical for this role.

·      Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a client-centric mindset.

·      Pursuit or possession of relevant certifications (e.g., CFP®, Series 7/66) is a plus; we support ongoing education.

·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

·      Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
