Ascend is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Assistant to support our in-store telecoms campaigns in Riverside. This is a face-to-face, customer-facing sales role based inside retail locations, working directly with customers to promote and sell everyday communication services.
About the Role:
As an Entry-Level Sales Assistant, you will work at in-store promotional stands and retail locations, speaking directly with customers, explaining available services, and assisting with sales. This role involves face-to-face interaction throughout the day and requires confidence in engaging with the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage customers face-to-face in a retail environment
- Promote and explain telecom products, services, and current offers
- Support in-store promotional campaigns and sales activities
- Assist customers with sign-ups and complete sales transactions
- Maintain a professional and organised sales area
- Work towards individual and team-based sales targets
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- Comfortable in a face-to-face, customer-facing sales environment
- Full-time availability for in-person work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- No prior sales experience required
Training & Support:
- Full product and sales training provided before working independently
- Ongoing coaching in customer engagement and sales techniques

Pay & Compensation:
