Retail Associate - Entry Level

Ascend Management Group is a business consulting firm in central Connecticut that specializes in connecting customers with top of the line products and services. As we grow, we are seeking an Entry Level Retail Associate to join our team and assist our crew. In this role, you will function as a strategic consultant, guiding clients through available products and services. The Entry Level Retail Associate’s objective will be to design packages that align with client objectives, driving customer acquisition and reinforcing our market position.

As an Entry Level Retail Associate, you will conduct needs-based discovery to tailor service recommendations that maximize value, performance, and long-term satisfaction. As an Entry Level Retail Associate, you evaluate usage patterns, household size, and business demands to propose optimal bundled or standalone configurations through consultation.

Core Functions of the Entry Level Retail Associate

• Execute targeted campaigns across various platforms and local zones to drive awareness of products and service offerings in the local community.
• Deliver tailored product recommendations through sales presentations that are aligned with household profiles and service eligibility.
• Manage enrollment workflows by validating documentation, confirming address-based availability, and coordinating activation timelines.
• Maintain CRM integrity with detailed logs of customer interactions, service milestones, and follow-up actions.
• Address service and billing inquiries through digital and phone-based channels with precision and brand-aligned professionalism.
• Analyze sales performance and customer feedback to surface upsell opportunities and optimize sales strategies.

Education & Experience Needed for the Entry Level Retail Associate

• High school diploma or GED; coursework in communications, marketing, or business is a plus.
• Experience in sales, outreach, or activation—ideally within telecom, retail, or subscription-based environments with quota-driven performance.
• Skilled in CRM platforms and digital workflow tools, with emphasis on accurate data entry, pipeline tracking, and enrollment coordination.
