About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage accounting records and documentation for multiple companies. This part-time role is ideal for someone with formal training in bookkeeping and prior experience working in accounting firms or business environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain accounting records.
- Manage and process invoices.
- Handle documentation across different companies.
- Update and track contracts.
- Ensure compliance with California accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bookkeeping certification or degree in Accounting/Finance (required).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (experience in an accounting firm preferred).
- Knowledge of California accounting standards and regulations.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Experience preparing financial statements, lender packages, and tax-related documentation.
