PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and mentor the recruiting team, ensuring performance goals are met.
· Develop and implement sustainable recruiting strategies and integrated programs to support high-growth business needs.
· Monitor recruitment metrics and optimize sourcing channels
· Works with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, provide guidance, create and modify job postings based on the job requirements of the position and an understanding of the job market.
· Conducts research on job titles, wage rates, and competitor postings to ensure our ads stand out in a crowded market.
· Attracts candidates by placing ads on job websites, at schools, and on social media.
· Builds applicant sources by networking with colleges, trade schools, employment agencies, and other groups.
· Evaluates candidate qualifications by reviewing applications and resumes, and conducting phone and in-person interviews, checking references, and performing online research
· Promotes ASC by highlighting our team values, work environment, company events, benefits, and growth opportunities.
· Regularly engages in social media activities to promote ASC as an employer
· Coordinates testing and schedules interviews with hiring managers
· Makes daily updates of recruiting activities in Appward and keeps recruiting files up to date.
· Ensure recruiting records are compliant with EEO-1 filing and Affirmative Action Plan
· Mentoring and training HR personnel in recruiting tasks
· Performs other duties as required
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
· At least 5 years’ experience in a recruiting or related role. Experience recruiting for industrial roles is preferred.
· 1-2 years’ experience in a leadership role is preferred.
· Experience with EEO-1 reporting and Affirmative Action Plan
· Experience training and mentoring on recruiting tasks
· Proficient knowledge of recruiting best practices and industry standards
· Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse candidates is essential.
· Intermediate computer skills including Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word
· Must be able to type at least 50 words per minute
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
· Expected to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in recruiting. Will be required to make good decisions based on professional knowledge.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to work at a computer monitor and operate a computer mouse, keyboard, printer, and other common office electronics.
· Must be able to sit for extended periods of time up to 8 hours
· Must be able to communicate clearly over the phone, on video calls, and in-person
· Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
· Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work and for local recruiting.
· Must be able to travel via car and plane to remote recruiting locations.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
