Some weekend availability required
About the Role
New City Supportive Living is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will support our dietary department by assisting with meal preparation and service while helping create a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our residents.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team setting and takes pride in contributing to the health and overall experience of seniors through quality meal service.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting
- Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with special dietary needs
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and service in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident needs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow proper food safety, storage, and handling procedures
- Assist with inventory and stocking of food and supplies
- Provide friendly and respectful service to residents during mealtimes
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to support a positive dining experience

As a Dietary Aide, you will use your organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills to help ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently.
