About the Role
High Point Residence Carlinville is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. In this role, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. Minimum Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or memory care
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs
- Assist with medication administration under the direction of a licensed nurse
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Observe and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing team
