• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• PRN shifts available
About the Role
High Point Residence Centralia is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. In this role, you will provide hands-on assistance and emotional support to residents, helping to ensure their safety, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.
You will work collaboratively with nursing and leadership teams to deliver person-centered care and support individualized care plans. Your dedication to quality care and teamwork will play a vital role in maintaining our strong community culture.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR and Food Handler certifications preferred (not required)
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA certification (State of Illinois)
- Experience working with residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with medication administration and treatments as directed by licensed staff
- Observe, monitor, and document changes in residents’ condition or behavior
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
