Position Summary
The Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator works in collaboration with pharmacy leaders and other health care professionals to develop and implement clinical programs and pharmacy supply chain activities to facilitate efficient and effective use of medications across various practice sites and service lines. Facilitates system-wide formulary management through proactive review and evaluation of formulary items and new drug therapies to provide for safe, high-quality, cost-effective pharmaceuticals and ensure timely review by the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee(s).
Monitors outcomes of clinical, formulary, and supply chain initiatives to ensure efficient use of pharmaceuticals across the system. Precepts pharmacy interns and residents work on formulary changes and projects.

Position Qualifications
Experience
- 3 years of experience in pharmacy, with at least 2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy or direct patient care activities, such as disease state management clinics, clinical rotations, and clinical residency, is required.
- An advanced degree in pharmacy management is preferred.
- Registered Pharmacist (RPh) by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy is required.
- Licensed Preceptor by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy is required.
- A Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is preferred.
