The Emergency Department Patient Access Representative provides customer service coverage in emergency department locations of Asante. Performs appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, telephone coverage, data entry, filing PHI, patient referrals, and point-of-service collections. Responsible for accurately describing compliance and regulatory documents required to be presented to patients.

PAR1 Requirements: Previous patient registration experience or related customer service/administrative/data entry experience. Salary: $18.09-$24.88/hr.

PAR2 Requirements: Minimum 1 year (2,080 hours) in PAR1 role or equivalent. Salary: $19.27-$26.49/hr.

Preferred: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (NAHAM) for both levels.
