The Lab Assistant/Specimen Processor contributes to the overall patient experience by using organizational and communication skills to receive and process laboratory specimens per regulatory requirements and SOPs. Assesses requisition dates, specimen adequacy and acceptability. Ensures accurate, timely processing of all specimens.

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required. Prior lab or healthcare experience (1 year) required. Phlebotomy experience preferred. MLA(ASCP) preferred.

Salary: $19.27-$26.50/hr. Differentials: $1.27 swing, $2.15 nights, $1.10 weekends. Full Time, 2nd Shift.
