What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Cath Lab Manager position at LMS Recruiting?
The Cardiac Cath Lab Manager provides leadership using Asante Guiding Values to oversee the success of the Imaging Cardiac Services, Cardiovascular Recovery and Cardiac Studies. Our Cath Lab sees over 3,000 patients in a year performing a variety of procedures such as: Interventions, Device Implants, Electrophysiology program. In this role, you will be responsible for approximately 35 FTE's and $23 million operating expense (within 3 operating budgets). You will also coordinate available resources, guide the strategic direction of the department, and assure accountability of health care professionals to support delivery of superb health care services.
Education:
Bachelor degree in health related field required. Master's degree in Business, Hospital Administration, Nursing or related field preferred.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred license / certifications:
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) registered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International; Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing; Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) registered by American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Required Experience:
Five years progressive leadership experience in a Cardiovascular lab serving 3000 patients annually; Cardiovascular recovery, imaging special procedures, and outpatient cardiovascular workflow experience; Current CIS & electrophysiology experience; Knowledge of charge capture in pre/post imaging and cardiovascular recovery procedures, peripheral angiography, in/out patient cardiac cases, and electrophysiology realm.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with and knowledge of various external market forces affecting the cardiovascular service line specific to hospitals, practitioners, and third party payers; Knowledge of PACS; Knowledge of electronic charge capture, inventory, and medical documentation.
