2nd Shift 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

POSITION SUMMARY

Supervise and coordinate the activities of Production Associates and Production of their assigned line(s).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.

· Direct and coordinate the activities of Associates engaged in the production or processing of goods.

· Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.

· Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.

· Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.

· Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new Associates, or assign Associates to experienced workers for training.

· Observe work, and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.

· Confer with Group Leader to resolve Associate concerns and or complaints.

· Interpret specifications, blueprints, and company policies and procedures for Associates.

· Recommend or implement measures to motivate Associates and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

· Set up and adjust machines and equipment.

· Achieve company and department business plans for Health and Safety Goals

Education

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience

One to two years related experience
