Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards ).Minimum Qualifications for the GS-12 Grade Level:
- 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: responsible for coordinating the collection, tracking, and processing of relevant data, such as statistical data or FOIA requests, in support of agency goals; interpreting legislation or advising management on guidelines, directives or circulars applicable to data collection, FOIA processing, The Privacy Act, information systems, or performance management; developing strategic goals and measures for the management or evaluation of agency programs; and representing management in public forums related to information collection or performance management.

Responsibilities:
As Program Analyst (Data Management), GS-0343, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to:- Develops and refines the collection and analysis of statistics, departmental data, and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request information within their respective districts and also includes the Special Law Enforcement Commission (SLEC) program and the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) data collection.
- Ensures program compliance with stringent program regulations. Plans and carries out assignments based upon prescribed program objectives.
- Consolidates work efforts into useful responses, ensuring their relevancy, technical accuracy, and consistency with related requests/projects.
- Provides advice to the Special Agent in Charge (SAC), the Supervisory Corrections Officer (SCO), and other senior officials on the management of FOIA information collection, release of information and the tracking of requests, SLEC program objectives, and UCR data collection.
- Provides regular status updates to OJS Headquarters office regarding outstanding FOIA, SLEC, and UCR requests. Reviews information collected in response to data requests, determines the release of information based on laws and policies governing the release data.
- Assists in the development programs and recommends to the SAC, SCO, and senior officials concepts for dealing with change to achieve full and accurate data reporting and FOIA, SLEC, and UCR submissions with prescribed guidelines.
