Arvato is looking to add a dynamic, hands-on Project Manager / Industrial Engineer. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can drive projects to on-time delivery, with a focus on quality in a very fast-paced environment. You will have knowledge of supply chain management and feel comfortable working in an open, dynamic and international environment. This role will collaborate closely with the global Future Warehouse team to identify, evaluate, and implement innovative automation and robotics projects across our logistics operations.
You will leverage your strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, while being a team player who can communicate effectively, both internally and with our clients. You have an open mindset and can quickly adapt to new technologies and software tools to drive innovation. Additionally, you will analyze logistics processes, develop innovative solutions and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

YOUR TASKS
- Manage large, complex projects for our North American and global Tech initiatives with the support of cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle.
- Research, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge robotics and automation solutions for multi-node fulfillment centers, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the investigation of emerging technologies, including AI-driven material handling, autonomous vehicles, and smart warehouse systems
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Develop and present solution options to senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making on technology investments.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and operations teams to deliver comprehensive logistics solutions.
- Manage complex RFQs for robotics and automation equipment, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Utilize data analytics and hands-on experience to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to optimize brownfield solutions or create greenfield solutions.
- Analyze current processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for automation, including robotics and automated systems, to enhance productivity and reduce manual labor.
- Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and production teams to streamline supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
- 3 years of experience in logistics engineering, robotics, or supply chain automation, ideally within a 3PL or advanced warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated experience with robotics integration, automation technologies, and systems implementation.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering technology projects on time and within budget.
- Proven experience in data analytics, process improvement, and material flow management.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and drive solutions with incomplete data.
- Advanced Excel preferred.
- AutoCAD experience preferred.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Pay rate for Las Vegas, NV: $19.00 per hour
- This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus
