The Maintenance Technician supports operations at Carbel, a leading logistics and distribution provider for the fashion and apparel industry and part of the Arvato family. Responsible for maintaining automated systems during the night shift by executing preventive and corrective maintenance, identifying issues, and reporting any anomalies in a timely manner.
This position works directly with conveyors, automated labeling equipment, Jolly machines, and supporting boiler systems. The technician will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures in real time and partner with operations to quickly restore productivity on the floor.

YOUR TASKS
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (AGVs, autolabeling, RFID systems)
- Respond to and resolve corrective maintenance issues during the shift
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic control system problems
- Perform initial troubleshooting before escalating to vendors
- Monitor equipment performance and identify anomalies
- Document all maintenance activities and interventions
- Maintain direct communication with the manager regarding relevant issues
- Ensure equipment is left in optimal operating condition
- Support minor improvements or operational adjustments when needed
- Demonstrate expertise with the following equipment and systems: AGVs, autolabeling lines, RFID tunnels, conveyors, and industrial sensors
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or automation
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of industrial electricity (24V, 120V, sensors)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and conveyors
- Skilled in technical troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently on night shifts
- Strong sense of ownership and reliability
- Good communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Availability to work on weekends
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AGVs or robotics, bilingual English and Spanish, basic PLC knowledge, and experience in automated warehouse environments
