What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Manager position at ARV Finance Inc.?
We are looking for a sharp, proactive Asset Manager to oversee our growing portfolio of private money loans. In this role, you aren’t just a paper pusher; you are the primary guardian of our capital. You will manage the post-closing lifecycle of our loans—from monitoring construction draws to navigating complex workouts—ensuring our investors stay protected and our borrowers stay on track.
What You’ll Do Portfolio Oversight: Actively monitor a diverse portfolio of [Fix & Flip / ADU / Ground-up] loans. Make contact with borrowers to ensure their projects are moving forward swiftly and in compliance with our guidelines. We have a hands on playbook to help our borrowers succeed and navigate project challenges.
Draw Management: You will be working hand in hand with the construction draw team to identify borrowers who need support. Risk Mitigation: Identify "red flag" assets early. Develop and execute workout strategies, forbearance agreements, or deed-in-lieu processes when necessary.
Reporting: Prepare monthly portfolio performance reports for executive leadership, focusing on specific metrics and project milestones.
REO Management: In the event of foreclosure, manage the preservation, listing, and sale of real estate owned (REO) assets to maximize recovery.
The Ideal Candidate The Experience: 3–5 years in private lending, commercial banking, or real estate asset management.

Communication: You are a people person and can have tough conversations with borrowers when warranted.
