Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. In this vital role, you will orchestrate the planning, execution, and oversight of construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination among teams, contractors, and clients. Your expertise will drive project success by managing schedules, budgets, and resources while maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders. Duties

  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using tools to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to facilitate smooth communication and workflow on construction sites.
  • Track project progress through regular updates, site visits, and documentation of work completed using software.
  • Support cost estimation processes with accurate data on construction estimating techniques and tools.
  • Manage document control by organizing drawings, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals efficiently.
  • Assist with procurement activities by reviewing contracts, purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of construction site safety protocols and support adherence to safety standards during all phases of work.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction management or project coordination within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction site operations.
  • Familiarity with contracts, change orders, and construction estimating processes.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Construction site experience is highly desirable for understanding field operations firsthand.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately to support project execution.

Compensation:

  • Hourly $19.50 to start. Higher pay commensurate with experience
