Duties
- Perform injectable treatments including botulinum toxin (Botox), dermal fillers, and other cosmetic injections with precision and care.
- Consult with clients to understand their aesthetic goals and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of current procedures, products, and industry trends such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments.
- Ensure all treatments adhere to safety protocols, sanitation standards, and state regulations.
- Manage client appointments efficiently using salon or medical spa software like Millennium or MINDBODY.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, product demos, and available retail options to enhance their results.
- Uphold excellent guest services by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns promptly.
- Assist with front desk responsibilities when needed, including scheduling, check-in/out procedures, and managing social media management efforts to promote services.
Experience
- Valid licensure in cosmetology, nursing, or medical aesthetics with certification in botulinum toxin treatment and dermal fillers.
- Prior experience in med spa settings or beauty salons specializing in injectables is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for appointment management.
- Strong knowledge of skin care treatments including esthetic laser treatment, body waxing, hair threading, and nail care is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively about treatment options and aftercare.
- Experience in retail sales, upselling services or products, and managing social media platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols within a healthcare or beauty environment.
