What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Artistic Tile?
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing all maintenance activities and personnel, creating and carrying out planned preventative maintenance and creating/maintaining critical materials and supplies. The position is also responsible for contacting and managing subcontractors and collaborating with the VP of Operations while considering internal and external requirements for safety, cost and Quality.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Safety:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment for all employees, in accordance with Company policy.
- Daily check on Material Handling Equipment and daily checklists in accordance with OSHA.
- Ensure required protective equipment is always utilized.
- Ensure all safety-related maintenance activities are treated as a priority.
Qualifications:
- Pervious supervisory experience required.
- Previous experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment a plus
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills
- Must be available for occasional weekend assignments and on-call work.
- Prior forklift certification preferred, recertification or initial certification will be completed when hired.
- Working knowledge of OSHA general industry regulations a plus.
- Strong work ethic, detail to attention and teamwork attitude.
- Experience with snow removal including plowing a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Distribution and Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
- Must be able to sit, stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, climb and stretch to fulfill cleaning and repair/maintenance tasks.
- Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Experience:
- OSHA Regulations Distribution/Manufacturing Environment : 2 years (Preferred)
- Supervising Staff: 2 years (Preferred)
- Working in a Distribution & Manufacturing Environment: 2 years (Preferred)
