We specialize in horizontal milling with full CAD/CAM programming, producing everything from tight-tolerance stainless and aluminum parts to quick-turn prototypes and high-volume production.Position OverviewWe’re hiring an experienced CNC Programmer / Set-Up Machinist for horizontal machining. The ideal candidate can program and set up multiple new parts each week, work independently, and take ownership of quality, productivity, and accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram horizontal CNC machines using Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar softwarePerform full setups: tooling, work offsets, fixtures, and probingManage multiple setups per week for prototype and short-run productionRead and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and setup documentationOptimize toolpaths, workholding, and cycle timesTroubleshoot machining and tooling issues independentlyPerform first-piece and in-process inspectionsMaintain a clean and organized work areaWhat Makes a Great FitTakes ownership of setups, accuracy, and timelinesWorks independently and solves problems without supervisionDependable and detail-orientedCommunicates clearly and supports a team-based shop environmentQualifications5 years of CNC programming and setup experience on horizontal machining centersExperience with Haas, Mazak, Doosan, or Kitamura equipmentProficiency in Mastercam, Fusion 360, or comparable CAD/CAM softwareStrong understanding of G-code, tooling, and fixturingExperience machining aluminum and stainless steelsU.S. work authorization requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesPaid holidays and PTOHealth insurance options401(k) retirement plan
