Duties
- Assist with the installation of landscape features including lawns, gardens, hardscapes, and irrigation systems using hand tools and power tools
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, grading soil, and setting foundations for planting or construction projects
- Operate equipment such as excavators, lawn mowers, snow plows, and tree trimming tools safely and efficiently
- Support landscape maintenance tasks like mowing, pruning, tree care, gardening, and snow removal to keep properties pristine year-round
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper function for healthy plant growth
- Help with the installation of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
- Perform routine landscape upkeep including lawn care, hedge trimming, planting, and general site cleanup to meet client specifications
Experience
- Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, gardening, or construction is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating power tools and landscaping equipment is a plus
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles and plant care techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
