Hardscape Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardscape Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating stunning outdoor spaces by assisting with the installation of hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, and other masonry elements. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help bring our clients’ visions to life while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site. Duties

• Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including layout and grading for hardscape projects
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to install pavers, stonework, concrete forms, and other hardscape features
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and detailed instructions to ensure precise installation of outdoor structures
• Mix and pour concrete for foundations, walkways, or retaining walls as required
• Perform demolition, site cleanup, and material handling to maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as masonry, carpentry, roofing, plastering, caulking, and tile laying
• Conduct routine inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in masonry-related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam is a plus
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics enhances your ability to execute projects accurately
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete finishing techniques is highly desirable
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, framing carpentry, drywall installation, and restoration work is advantageous
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions precisely is essential
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions are required
