We have an urgent requirement for 5 Senior Material Review Board (MRB) Engineers to support an aerospace production environment in Wichita, Kansas.
We are looking for experienced aerospace professionals with strong hands-on MRB, liaison engineering, manufacturing, and production support experience who can independently evaluate and disposition production nonconformances.

Key Responsibilities
- Represent Engineering as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB) within an aerospace production or pre-production environment.
- Analyze, substantiate, document, and disposition production nonconformances in accordance with FAA regulations and OEM delegated requirements.
- Exercise independent engineering judgment and delegated authority when dispositioning nonconformances involving aircraft structures, systems, functional testing, and wiring/electrical installations.
- Provide engineering dispositions for issues involving machined parts, sheet-metal components, weldments, non-metallic materials, advanced composites, assemblies, and integrated aircraft systems.
- Investigate manufacturing and design discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Develop engineering solutions such as repair, rework, use-as-is, or other technically substantiated dispositions.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Design Engineering, Stress Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams.
- Support design and manufacturing process improvements to address recurring production issues and improve producibility.
- Lead or participate in engineering and manufacturing initiatives in a fast-paced aerospace production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited and/or Washington Accord-recognized university.
- 10 years of engineering experience.
- OEM MRB delegation experience is required, with Boeing MRB delegation or equivalent OEM experience strongly preferred.
- Strong experience supporting aerospace production, manufacturing, liaison engineering, or Material Review Board activities.
- Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate and disposition production nonconformances.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft manufacturing, structural components, engineering drawings, materials, and repair practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Material Review Board experience in an aerospace production environment.
- Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Experience with CATIA V5.
- Experience with composite materials and advanced composite structures.
- Aircraft structural repair design and repair substantiation experience.
- Experience working with an aircraft OEM, airline, FAA Part 145 Repair Station, or OEM Liaison Engineering organization.
- Experience reading and interpreting aircraft drawings, engineering specifications, maintenance documents, and repair requirements.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry-standard manufacturing and repair methods.
- Experience with machined parts, sheet-metal parts, welded assemblies, composites, and large-scale aircraft assemblies.
- Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience initiating engineering design or manufacturing process changes.
- Ability to effectively lead and participate in cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make timely engineering decisions in a production environment.
