Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dryer Machine Operator on 12 hour night shifts to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial dryer machines to ensure optimal performance during food production processes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drying equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
- Follow strict HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) protocols to maintain food safety and quality.
- Assist with sanitation procedures, ensuring all equipment and work areas meet cleanliness standards required for food processing.
- Support packaging operations by preparing dried products for packaging lines, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with drying machinery, escalating complex problems to maintenance teams as needed.
- Operate forklifts safely when moving raw materials or finished products within the facility, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production data, machine performance, and sanitation activities in compliance with industry regulations.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of HACCP, CGMP, sanitation procedures, and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with packaging processes within the food industry is a plus.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
