What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator position at Alliance Machine & Fabrication?
We are seeking a Brake Press Operator to join our fabrication team. This role is responsible for operating CNC press brakes to produce high-quality sheet metal components. The operator will also support other departments as needed to keep production running efficiently.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of sheet metal forming, excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, consistent parts. You’ll work closely with our production team to ensure jobs are completed on time and to specification.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC press brakes to form sheet metal parts
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Perform basic programming and adjustments at the machine
- Inspect parts and complete/maintain required inspection reports and documentation
- Ensure all work meets quality and compliance standards
- Assist in other areas of production as needed
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience operating press brakes
- Experience with Delem controls preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Commitment to accurate documentation and quality processes
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
